Commander Vex is an older Jovian noble of House Vettori. Around him: Banshee, Sister Null, Sparks, and Omicron — characters whose silhouettes, materials, equipment, and behavior should make their planetary origins readable before exposition is needed.
The Vex lane is extravagant by design: glamour, horror, strange biology, ancient machinery, differentiated civilizations, and disciplined sequential storytelling.

Character silhouettes, equipment, architecture, materials, and technology must reveal culture. The Myst should feel older than humanity and still frighteningly functional.
